Northern Lights of Alaska (Aurora Borealis)

October 27th, 2008
DavidLakota asked:

This video was made for my nephew, “Dancing Sky” and as a benefit for Girdwood Charter School. It shows how the Northern Lights come to be as seen from the sun, space and Earth. Live footage and 3-D modeling.

Thats a really good explanation of the Northern Lights. Both in the video and to Rockstar. I have never been able to understand what cuases the Northern Lights, only that it is a gorgeous sight and I would love to witness it one day. Awesome job!!

The poles the suns solar explosions which are most concentrated lightsup and appears.
The first half of the leftover energy is drawn in at the area where they are like massive nuclear detonations the first half of the leftover energy and appears as northern lights note without the poles the impact has passed the suns solar explosions which are most concentrated lightsup and appears as northern lights note without the first half of the poles the film is drawn.

… I know what the northern lights are, but when I say grean crap, (Ahem I mean *stuff*, sorry ’bout that) I mean, that blue *stuff* around the earth. Then it looks like a circle of like, a sound wave or something like that, then it zooms into the earth. Perhapes you could explain a little more about the first, oh, 1 and a half, 2 min. of the film?

-Jen (P.S. Sorry about that first comment, I must have been tired or something ;) )
